Combined Medical services (CMS) examination 2013 examination fee and Syllabus!

Candidates are required to pay a fee for Rs 100/-(Rupees one hundred) either by remitting the money in any branches of SBI or pay using Debit/Credit or Net banking.

All Female candidates and candidates belonging to the Scheduled castes are exempted from this fee.

What is the examination pattern and Combined Medical services syllabus (CMS) examination 2013?

Combined Medical Services examination comprises of a written test followed by a personality test. The written examination consists of two papers, each paper carrying maximum of 250 marks. Each paper will be of two hours duration.

Combined Medical Services Syllabus and the various sections covered in the examination are given below:
Paper 1 Maximum Marks : 250
General Ability 30 questions
General Medicine 70 questions
Paediatrics 20 questions
Paper 2 Maximum Marks : 250
Surgery 40 questions
Gynecology & Obstetrics 40 questions
Preventive & Social Medicine 40 questions
